Battleships General Quarters  This version of the classic
Battleship game is a blast to play. There was a time when kids
would play this classic battle grid game on a sheet of graph paper.
The computer version is ten times more fun. The idea is the same.
You and the opposing fleet
commander are given an
aircraft carrier, battleship,
destroyer, submarine and
PT boat to arrange on a
ten by ten grid. The enemy
doesn't see your ships and
you don't see theirs. This
game has been around
for a hundred years, but
not in such a fun version.
The sound effects of geysers
of water from misses and
the mushroom cloud
explosions from direct hits
make this video version of a classic game tons of fun to play. Like
the games above, this is an external link to the website Battleship -
General Quarters. Enjoy!
Thanks for stopping by
the Fun Links page. Its
not easy to look for
work...and hopefully,
these links and more
like them to come will
make the job easier.
This page is new to the
site so it doesn't have
very much right now.
You could play a few
rounds of battleship or
other games. Come
back soon and we'll
have more to make
your visit more fun.
Thanks for dropping by.
